Course description
Welcome to the Level 2 Textiles and Dressmaking Course! This course is perfect for those who have some basic sewing skills and want to learn more advanced techniques. In this course, you will improve your sewing skills and learn about different types of fabrics. We will teach you how to handle various materials and choose the best fabric for each project. You will learn advanced sewing techniques like making darts, pleats, and inserting zippers. We will also show you how to make buttonholes and attach buttons. You will practice designing simple clothing items and work on more detailed projects. These projects will help you understand how to create garments that fit well and look professional. Our friendly experienced tutor will guide you through each step, offering help and advice whenever you need it. Throughout the course, you will work on several garments, such as a blouse, a pair of pants, or a simple jacket.
