Course overview

This is a mosaic course for anyone wanting to learn and improve their creative skills. You will learn how to create mosaics within a group of like-minded budding artists. Guidance and support is offered throughout the course from our talented tutor, to develop your artistic skills. You will also have the opportunity to connect with and support others in a small artistic community. No previous skills in mosaics are needed to join this group. This course is held in Nailsworth, Stroud, in an independent living community and you will find peace and relaxation in a wonderful Cotswold.

Course description

Whether you are a beginner or an advanced learner of mosaics, this course will help you apply and practice mosaic techniques in a creative way in your own work. This is a mosaic course for anyone wanting to learn and improve their skills. You will learn how to first use paper to plan out your mosaic and become used to how mosaics are built up from small pieces to create an overall image from the pieces. Our creative teacher, Vicky, is ready to guide and support you through the creative process to develop your artistic skills. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy a social learning environment as you connect with and support others within the class, creating your own small creative community. No previous skills in mosaics are needed to join this group. This course is held in Nailsworth, Stroud, in an independent living community and you will find peace and relaxation in a wonderful Cotswold setting.

What financial support is available?

We don't want anything to stand in your way when it comes to bringing Adult learning within reach so if you need anything to support you to achieve your goals then speak to one of our education experts during your enrolment journey. Most of our courses are government funded but if you don't qualify or need alternative financial help to access them then let us know.
