Course description

Whether you are a beginner or an advanced learner of watercolour painting, this course will help you apply and practice classical techniques in a subtle way in your own work. If you would like to have a fresh view of watercolour painting, and learn how to achieve expressivity by carefully combining techniques such as glazing, graded wash or blending, this course will offer you an introduction to this style of painting.

It will also encourage you to create your own original artwork based on the techniques learned.

This 4-week course is aimed at beginners to intermediate level students and will introduce you to different inspirations for painting in watercolour and help you to explore methods for working spontaneously and expressively. You will be shown a diverse mixture of styles, techniques and approaches and encouraged to use your own techniques. Sessions will contain ideas for exploring self-expression and encourage you to try out new ways of approaching your own paintings.

You will learn in a friendly environment with like-minded people and a supportive tutor.
