Entry Levels 1,2,3: If you have never studied this subject before and you’re not confident in your skills, Entry levels are a good starting point.
Level 1: Covers basic skills and knowledge needed for this subject
Level 2: Building on basic knowledge or experience. Similar to Grade 4/ C at GCSE or O level in England or Standards in Scotland.
Level 3: Learn about the topic in-depth and have a broad range of skills. Independent working Equivalent to an A level in England or Higher in Scotland.
Beginners: A perfect introduction if you have no experience and skills in this subject.
Improvers: The next step if you have basic skills or knowledge but want to progress them further.
Advanced: Build on the solid experience and skills you have in this subject, applying your skills and knowledge in a more complex way.

Course description
Even if you have never picked up a pencil before, this course will give you the space and freedom to explore and develop your inner artist. The WEA thrives themselves of providing a safe and fun learning experience for their learners, it is nothing like school!
Discover your hidden artist by using mediums such as pencils, charcoal, watercolour, acrylic and collage. Share your love of the arts with like minded people and be encouraged and motivated to produce work that reflects who you are.
You can even share what you produce on our virtual learning environment Canvas and explore ways to improve and master your skills and techniques.
Build your skills and colour mixing techniques in this friendly group. Bring your favourite materials and by the end of the course you will be hooked. Once you have completed this course you can progress onto the next course in the series: Still Life. Ask your tutor for details about future courses, and what ones would be best for you.
