Course description
Welcome to Term 3 of the Italian Course! This course continues to build your Italian language skills with practical topics to enhance conversational abilities and fluency. This term covers essential scenarios such as ordering in a restaurant, where you'll learn to read menus, make reservations, order food and drinks, and express dining preferences. You'll also gain vocabulary to discuss the weather, enabling you to describe conditions, forecast, and engage in small talk about seasons. Additionally, the course focuses on discussing spare time and hobbies. You’ll learn to talk about interests, describe weekend plans, and ask others about activities. Describing people is another key topic, practicing vocabulary for appearance, personality traits, and clothing, enabling detailed descriptions. Interactive lessons include role-playing, listening comprehension, and cultural insights for a well-rounded learning experience. By term end, you’ll confidently order in restaurants, discuss weather, talk about hobbies, and describe people in Italian. Regular participation, quizzes, and practical assignments assess progress.
