Chris Morgan is the Director of External Relationships at the WEA.

With over 20 years of extensive experience, Chris has worked primarily in the charity and independent sectors delivering skills programmes to learners left behind by mainstream education routes. Chris' team leads on growing new business and partnerships for the WEA to enable continuing its good work across England and Scotland, as well as innovating our educational offer with new ideas and technologies.

He was previously WEA’s Head of Region for Yorkshire and Humber and its Director for Employability & Skills. Chris worked for Nacro for over 15 years, where he held a number of senior national roles, including Head of Contracts, Funding & Partnerships and Assistant Principal. He was involved in the delivery and management of adult learning, apprenticeships, traineeships, 16-18 programmes and award-winning and innovative employer-led activities.
