Course description

Heath and Social Care: Introduction to Autism and Neurodiversity for Support Staff is designed to help support staff and caregivers develop the knowledge and skills needed to work effectively with individuals who are on the autism spectrum or have other neurodiverse conditions. This course covers the characteristics of autism, the concept of neurodiversity, and the challenges and strengths associated with neurodiverse conditions.
